Definitely had a draft saved for today...

I definitely had a draft from late last night for today, but things change. I opened my email up this morning and found that I received an email from the person in charge of the Summer Camp. She wants me to make a decision whether I should apply for a Day Camp Job or a Resident Camp Job. I have some Pros and Cons for each.

Day Camp Pros: Working from 9-5pm
Day Camp Cons: Driving an hour to and from
Resident Camp Pros: Getting paid more than Day Camp, Only a 20 minute drive to and from
Resident Camp Cons: Having to stay overnight

Looking at the small chart, I think I am going to go with Resident Camp, staying overnight is not a huge issue for me.

Yesterday, I order two books. My accounting book that cost $83, and my math book, was $40. The other four books I am going to order sometime... Whenever my mom "gets to it." It is about 2 weeks until classes begin and I cannot wait!! I really need to start like NOW! I am so ready; sitting here all day is boring.

  1. Textbooks are so expensive. I had to buy a book on communication back in 2009in the first year of my Bachelors, and I thought, "75.99?!?!?! WHAT?" Well, lucky I got a few dollars knocked off because I was a member, but it was still horrifically ridiculous.

The Day Camp sounds like the job I had about a year ago. I didn't have to drive, but I had to leave at 6:55 for a 9am start, primarily because the buses around here are ridiculous. I didn't mind working though, I loved the job. But the fact that Resident Camp pays more and staying overnight really isn't a big deal, that looks like the way to go!

  2. I hate having to shop for text books! Not fun.

Resident camp sounds good if spending the night isn't bad for you.
